Quukr ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of every user and group that trusts us with their financial records. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

Quukr is a financial transparency platform for groups and communities. We provide tools for treasurers to record transactions and share ledgers with their members. We do not hold, move, or process any group funds. We are a records platform, not a financial institution.

2. What Data We Collect

Account data

When you create an account we collect your full name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash we cannot read). If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email, and Google account identifier. We never receive your Google password.

Group and financial records

When you create a group and record transactions, that data is stored on our servers. This includes group names, transaction descriptions, amounts, dates, and payment methods. This data belongs to your group, not to Quukr.

Usage data

We collect basic information about how you use Quukr — pages visited, features used, and actions taken. This helps us improve the product. We do not sell this data.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide and improve the Quukr service, send transactional emails, enforce tier limits, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data to show you advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We use encrypted connections for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. Financial records in Quukr are designed to be permanent and tamper-resistant.

5. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate Quukr. These providers may assist with authentication, payment processing, email delivery, cloud hosting, analytics, and infrastructure services. These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their services.

6. Data Retention

We retain account information and organizational records for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Financial records stored within Quukr may be retained to preserve the integrity and transparency of ledger histories.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable laws and operational requirements.
